New rates for Student Visa applications submitted outside the UK.
Student Visa Fee £490.
The UKVI aims to reach a decision on the student visa within three weeks.
New Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) rate of £776 per year of studies.
Beginning January 16, 2024, the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) for students is expected to rise from £470 to £776 per year. The IHS system will auto-calculate the cost based on the study period stated on the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
New Priority Service fee at £500 in addition to the visa application fee.
It’s important to note that with the Priority Visa service for students, you will usually receive a decision within five working days.
New updates
The Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) fees will increase from 6 February 2024.
The rate for Child Student, Student, Student dependant, and Youth Mobility Scheme will increase from the current £470 per visa year to £776 per visa year.
The rate for all other relevant immigration categories will increase from the current £624 per visa year to £1,035 per visa vear.
